    poking sticks and posts in the ground isn't so easy here in the glacial till we've got for soil so that's about the cheapest, quickest I've come up with to work around the soil limitations. It's not very picturesque though.
    One cord blocks isn't the easiest for keeping a roof on so oak that has to sit forever doesn't get one. I just take a leaf blower and try to keep the top clean-ish. It's also not punky oak so a little rain and snow is no bfd.
