Load dropped off

My neighbor is a logger and he dropped off a load of butt ends

I can't tell what kind of wood he left you. Zat pine of some sort?

 

Douglas Fir, Some of these were 36" across with bark.

I'll get some pics of saws.

I think that was two loads, I wasn't home when he dropped it off. He brought it in a dump trailer of some type. The next time he brings some i'll try and be home and take some pics of his setup.

 

Here are some saw pics and a few tools i use.
I processed the bigger stuff already but this is still pretty good size. This butt end was 10' long.

Looks like that tree had large growth rings, trees must grow fast in your area.
