My youngest son and I hauled two weeks worth of oak/locust/hard maple into the garage this afternoon, in anticipation of the crappy weather heading our way. Got it ranked up just in time too, started snowing and sleeting pretty hard!! I hurt my back last Sunday, of all ways, cheering on the Steelers!! At the end of the game they scored a trick touchdown and I jumped up off the couch cheering, landing on a fleece blanket that was laying on the hardwood floor under my feet. I slipped backwards and my left kidney area slammed into the arm of the couch, knocked the wind clean out of me and pinched a nerve.... I was down all week, felt good to be working with wood again today!!!
I knew there was a good reason not to watch football. You found it. Glad you're back up and at it, even if just a little bit.
That will teach you to route for the Steelers man! Haha, I've actually done something similar myself so I feel your pain! I'm a die-hard football fan myself, I love this time of year. Get to light the stove and watch football! Thanksgiving is my all time favorite holiday, football, food, family and friends, doesn't get much better than that! Hope you feel better my friend, the Steelers are going to need you if they keep losing! I was routing for them to beat the cowboys last week.....
That's what happens when you cheer for the Squeelers.....lol......really though, hope you shake it brother.
On average, 7 cord. Mild winters around 5, hard winters as much as 8. Two appliances. We're sitting at around 5 years ahead....
Could be worse, could have hurt yourself cheering for the Browns (like anybody has done that lately ) Feel better man, I know what its like, I have dealt with back issues on and off for quite some time now
Perhaps you were having the wrong beverage while watching football Scotty?! Cheer up, you've already began the comeback. But be very careful in the future. Believe me, back problems are nothing to laugh about.
Sorry to hear you were hurt, Steelers fan myself, the trick touchdown was cool. The crappy weather skimmed us here but it was close, the wind was brutal and not used to the cold yet, set out by the fire pit Thursday night but that was probably the last time. More crappy weather next week. PS-at my age I dont jump up and down much any more.
Pace yourself Scotty Play-offs are a dim light , if we get there, we'll need lots of "hard, intense" cheering. Good that you have 2 weeks wood dried in Maybe you'll get the snow you been wanting Deer season with snow, been a few years since that happened.
