Yup. I finally moved the snow blower and put a shovel on the deck and one more in the garage (with the snowblower).
I'll probably scrape the deck off when I go out to fire the OWB tonight.

well, these particular shingles dang sure didn't cost me anywhere near $99 a bundle, and I didn't recommend to anyone to go out and buy any, either!

Very Nice! I use the same stuff, old cedar fence boards. Do my part to recycle :)

When you do shingle work there are sometimes 5 to 10% that have blems of some sort that you do not use. They make great fire starters.

I was camping/fishing a few weeks ago and found this forest fire burn that was full of red cedar. We took a few little trees to keep us warm at camp and the rest we split and took home. Wish I could have brought home more as this stuff was bone dry red cedar but we had fish to catch and my mind wasnt on wood processing for a change. Its also 2.5 hours away making it a poor choice for a revisit for a truck load of cedar. I ended up with six rounds at my house by the time we burned most of it in the campfire. Ive been using it up for kindling. Love the stuff!
