In my area finding a good handle is impossible. Leaving the options of making your own or mail order. I don't have the time to make one so..... I have been looking for a good place.
I ordered from two different places to check out. House handles and beaver tooth.
I got the ones from house handles today . Super fast shipping. I opted for hand selected. They actually look ok at first glance. I will update and share some photos as soon as I get the ones from beaver tooth. Anybody else have a good trusted mail order source they would like to share?

I got all the handles in. house handles was faster on shipping to me at least house handles where cheaper. I received 2 handles from each and to start the grain orientation and density is great on all four. Beaver tooth slightly better. the finish on the Beaver tooth handles where better as well. however they did cost more. the house handles just need a bit of sanding and some blo or your choice of oil/ finish.
I will try and get some photos up this weekend. I have already started hanging an axe for a customer so it will be more finished by the time I can take a photo.
