It's been a very long time since I had the perfect morning to burn. Been dry, dry round heeya. Had old boards, rotten steps, a ramp I wanted gone, brush, etc... no wind, cool and it's gonna rain tonight... perfect. Here's a few pics (now that the Geeksters have fixed my photo libarrarry)... gotta have proof the fun happened... Ahhhhhhh... gone...
I just burned a bunch of odds and ends that were cluttering the wood splitting area. All of it could have made OK firewood, but I've got enough stashed and I'm running low on space for it, so I decided that neatness and organization were worth more to me than the BTUs were worth. Wasn't easy making that decision, but I'm glad I did.
you got a good one there! my honey never has start a bonfire on my list... I do it regularly it just doesn't get me brownie points.... now if I redesigned her kitchen with new cabinets.. double the counter space.. then yes

Got a couple piles similar to that out by the pit, but the DNR has a burn ban on right now. I don't have the time anyway.........I'll probably just wait for the snow to fall before I light it off.

I bought a nice ring for the fire pit for this year. Only able to light it up once or twice due to the drought. Not safe with the woods so near. Maybe next year.
I'm always looking for an excuse to have a fire... Nice fire there Stinster... I have about 3 semi loads of leaves I can send your way...
Lucky here with leaves. Got lots of em, but the wind usually blows most of them down into the woods. Our old farm was a dif story... your semi loads always landed right smack in the middle of the yard. I don't miss that much...
We aren't supposed to burn around here before 6 in the evening but that doesn't stop any of us around here.......................................................
