I have a gator myself, such a work saver. I had the front rack mounted to hold all of the saw paraphernalia. Well done, nice wood!:dex:

I was really surprised at how big of a tree the gator will drag. Not exactly a tractor but with 10 inch trees it'll pull a 45 footer right next to the trailer. Buck to 9 foot logs, load on trailer, wash, rinse, repeat...

The bigger stuff gets cut to 54" and can be flipped into the gator bed pretty easily.

Just got a 6 acre parcel to cut on close enough to drive the gator to. Guy says cut em all. he's going to use it to store dirt and gravel for his excavating business. Needless to say, him and his daughter (Co owner ) both got fifths of their favorite beverages.

You have a lot of nice looking wood there... Quite a few cords by my guess?

I use my gator to gather my firewood also.

Lots more to get. I have about a week to get what I want off the stump. after that they remaining will be knocked over and pushed into a pile. I'd rather drop them myself. I don't like how sprung everything gets in a pile, too unpredictable.

there is a bunch of poplar. I'll take some, but I'm cherry picking the good trees first. the poplar is good for keeping myself outta my good stuff during campfire season.

Doing my best to get all I can into my yard. you never know when an opportunity might fade away.

I can finish processing at my leisure during the winter.

I would do the same..., get all you can. I take poplar too. Use it for starting fires mostly and have some in my campfire pile also. How many cords you think you have there already?

I have done the exact same thing a few time with the farmer I cut on mostly. He is always buying land and clears the trees for tillable ground so I get it home as quickly as possible. If not he will get antsy and push it in a pile and light it on fire.

I really miss my utv, great for hauling wood around and lots of other work. I have two atvs now that are much easier to load into a truck. But still they don't have the work ability of a utv.

Lucky to get it. It's very hard to find a place to cut wood right in the middle of firearm deer season. The fact that I can go cut a quick load after work and be back before dinner. ..priceless.

Right on Pyro. I figured you'd be out hunting now but putting up wood, especially in this weather has to be great. It doesn't surprise me about the gator and I like the rack you built for carrying saws.

Making up for lost time last year. Didn't get any last year after hernia surgery. God bless the three year plan.
