    They both were right down to the wire as to who was going to win. Edmonton will be playing Ottawa and BC will be playing Calgary.

    I went all the way back to page one and that was some kind of smoking deal (no pun intended)! Looks great and I hope it is as rock solid as most Harman pellet stoves so it serves you well for many, many years. :fire:

    After the clear skies and moon out last night, we got a rain shower, stars and patchy sky this morning. campinspecter is going to see if he can get a load of wood this morning while I stay home, run the boiler and shred paper.

    I was able to sneak in a project before the cold hits. I started scraping and priming the at grade basement door frame. The pine threshold was a mess and loose. I popped it out with a bar and it was dry rotted. All the sawdust and loose stone under it was vacuumed out. I used composite decking as a replacement threshold and stepped them down where they met and both pieces were pitched down to shed any rain. I filled in and around them with cold patch. I just need to adjust the weatherstrip and add a small filler under the screen door.

    All edges and underneath were sealed with exterior grade silicone sealer. 20161114_142133.jpg

    The boards got a nice bead of snot where they met up.

    Had another furnace change out today. Waited in the people's driveway for them to wake up and let us in....Knocking on the door; the frame of the door; the glass of the door; called on the phone; dogs barking (inside);
    You'd think they would be up and ready for us to start, no?
    Have to finish this one up tomorrow now.

    A little more progress on the barn today. Been busy with work and a few other odds and ends lately.

    Started and finished the rafter "ladders", facia, and purlins over the last few days.

    No. Those ARE all perfectly straight lines. Your eyes are just playing tricks on you.:whistle:

    Started drip edge today and separated the two different lengths of roofing and staged them near the barn on saw horses. Two piles at front side end and back side end. We will finish drip edge tomorrow in an hour and start putting roofing on!

    Finished up processing my deer today. I made 8lbs of meatballs which took longer than normal ground meat. The kitchen was deeeeeestroyed, so the rest of the day was cleaning. I was tempted to just bring in the pressure washer :rofl: :lol:
