I hope he got some resolution. He paid to much to start with. Bought a discontinued unit because of the looks of that one compared to others. I would be bitter also. my p68 isn't pretty like a franklin style stove, but is a one he!! of a beast for heat. Jay, Dex and a few others didn't give up on me when I was so upset with my first stove. This stove is almost too easy. Love it.

I'm primarily an Ideal Steel wood burner, but have been blessed with a P68 as well. It's a real champ!

Slvrblkkk, thanks for the conclusion. Case closed!

In all seriousness I hope it worked out for him.

I hope he didnt and if he did leave, it sounds like it might be due to the "no politics on the forum" rule.

IMHO, that is one of the best rules here and we are all better off for it. This country is divided enough, there is no need for that to happen here.
Thank you Scotty Overkill, DexterDay and those who started this site. Its one of the best places to hang out. :campfire:

Agreed. This has been the nicest and most non-vulgar forum I have ever followed, that's why I finally decided to join.

If you ask Scotty? I'm sure he will say that it was started for you and by you! The demand was there for a group of people who just wanted a family friendly group that didn't talk politics!!

I'm guessing he is gone. I hope he returns, seeing how he was a great member up until his stove situation and the election.

Gonna quote this one again!! You couldn't have said it better brother !! Best rule is the #1 rule.

Personally I think he got waaaaay toooooo worked up over the stove issue.

Having been down a similar path years ago, I learned the hard lesson about dealers and just fixed the issues and never looked back, never bought from a dealer again either.

Sad situation, but this sort of stuff plays out all the time.

Maybe Lordz will come back and see us.
