Looks like your getting on just fine. Take your time. I overdid it today and I'm definitely going to be paying for it tomorrow. Nice stacks.

Great job. There are times I can only devote an hour may be 2 to working on the hoard, but slow and steady wins the race.

In the top pic the two logs on top look like pine.

For burning it I find you need to choke down a little bit more than hardwood and you might not want to fill the stove more than half way with 100% pine. At least until you see how much flame you get in your stove with it.
Flames shooting out the top of the chimney scares (some of ) the neighbors.

Looks great - nice and neat. Keeping it all organized will make the time you can dedicate, that much more productive. It gets tough with the short days.

I used to have mine nice and neat too but I've been slipping - a lot... :emb: My unsplit pile is a heaping mess right now, so it doesn't really get worked on unless I have a good block of free time.

    Anyway, real nice job!

Front log definitely ash, the second log appears to look more like Norway Maple but I wouldn't bet much on that guess. And you definitely have some pine or spruce flavor in there.
