Great advice and the same as what I got when asking about what computer I should get (1993). I don't know until I know....ya' know? I think I may use e-mail, will use internet, movies, books, etc., so I have a general idea. The thought was to get this inexpensive tab and go from there instead of just jumping into something expensive. The guy just left a bit ago. So far, I'm not sure why some reviewers are complaining so much about this tab. For the price, it seems pretty nice. It's more powerful than some desktops I've had. The display does seem a little dark, however. Might just be a setting I haven't found. I'll know more as I mess with it.
Maybe the more bright light it senses, the brighter the screen Some use the camera to sense the brightness of the area you are in & adj screen accordingly
Now ya need something like this for vids and music . JBL Charge 2+ Splashproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker I like mine sounds great . A lot of Bluetooth Speakers out there to choose from
I thought that would probably be something you would like to have, I know I would , you're not limited to Amazon apps
How ya like it? Looks like that Fire HD is as good as tablets costing a lot more . I finally broke down and bought a case - stand , been using a stand I made out of the box it came in
Finally figured out how to turn off auto incorrect. Installed Firefox, set up e-mail. I can see I'll need a stand. I want a cover/case. I almost bought a couple micro SD cards while at the store, and now wish I had. Found a 200G for $79. Almost what I paid for the Fire. Jeesh. Still need to figure out the e-book thing. I'll get it. My wife still hasn't pulled hers outta the box. It's definitely a fingerprint magnet, like most of the reviews said.
I have to get another one of these, I have one in my phone, they're on sale right now, I paid 35 for the one I have. SanDisk - Ultra Plus 64GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card - Gray/Red I have had this tablet 7 months and haven't put a card in yet, still have 7 gbs of space left out of 16. I don't store much on it though because I move things to my NAS
Did you get yourself a stylus ? part of the time, I just have to use it because, I can't tap on the little deals with my fat fingers
No stylus. I wonder if that would work on this tab? I don't have large fingers, but it's not easy hitting all those little letters.
That's what I'm saying. Yeah they work on there, that's what they are for, there's just a rubber thing on the end. My granddaughter got me a nice pen with stylus tip on top, I have another one but don't use it since I got this one
Well, I got to thinking about these stylus, I dug my other one out and it works much better than that pen, apparently it's worn or something but it doesn't slide easy, and doesn't select as well. I did some searching and found that, apparently the microfiber tips on these are better ,so, I decided to get some new ones after searching around ,I ended up ordering these. There's only about 70,000 choices on which ones to get. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D5GIK3A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Okay Dave, I thought I would post how these stylus worked out for me. I ended up getting two different kinds, microfiber and rubber tip with a smaller end. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D5GIK3A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D5GVMK8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Both kinds work really good, the microfiber is just a little more sensitive. I like the small tip on the rubber ones. I think I will be using these all the time now with the tablet, anyway, looks like I'll be set for a long time, even then, I don't have to buy new ones just replace the tips.
Microfiber is more sensitive in a good way. Yeah, I use them to swipe, they work good, slide real nice, not like that pen I had, it was sticky did not work good. You don't need to push hard at all with them. I didn't know what I was missing I like them, much easier to tap on small stuff
I have an iPad that I too find very awkward. Typing is much easier on the much smaller iPhone or a normal computer keyboard. It's just too big, but it's not big enough. If it's all I had, I would definitely get a Bluetooth keyboard. It's alright for general browsing I guess. I carry in my suitcase, and the only time I really use it is to occasionally stream a movie at my hotel. I waste much more time with my phone. Like right now I'm sitting at my dining table, looking at my laptop on the counter, and I'm typing on my phone.
