Lordz, glad to hear you are seeing this through to the end. If anything, the broken stud is a good thing because now the dealer is on the hook more than ever to provide a solution. FWIW, I think you will be very happy with the stove when this is all said and done.

I am sorry to hear that you have been censored at fhc. Are you saying that your information is being blocked, edited or deleted?

I truly hope that you get this ironed out to your satisfaction.

well, if it helps, I was not only censored, but banned from some other forum relating to pellet stoves. Seems my opinions in the political views section didn't jive with the popular views of the mods. Which is ok, I guess, its their ball, right? The real issue I had was when certain posts would be selectively deleted, others left in, so that folks reading the thread wouldn't get a real representation of what was said. It also irked me that my knowledge was being used by the website owner and mods to further their far left leaning causes, and in fact, profit from them.
    Meh.

As such, I avoid my personal political leanings here, and have never been censored here, far as I know.

Sorry, OP, didn't mean to derail your thread!

    That is all. Carry on.

    Just my 2 cents here

Personally I would not let any dealer touch my stove.

Take a deep breath, let it out slowly and cool off.

Get out the tools and fix the offending item, make it right and let Harman know you are not pleased.

Tearing things out makes little real good sense after all the hard work and $$$$

This issue appears to be basically a minor problem rather than a big deal.

    Good luck

To piggyback with jtakeman, "I" have even been warned from somethings I have said, and I am a moderator, with that said; We try to keep the focus here on burning and wood related items that we all share in common. The last thing we need is people throwing stones at each other! Nobody is "TRYING" to suppress you at all, it's just a rule so we can have some peace and dignity amongst the members regardless of their political view points. Thanks for the understanding! :)

I'll be the contrary view here, I guess..

Let the Dealer fix it LordZ - it's obvious you got a stove defective from Factory, damaged @ depot, or in transit to you:

I know you've about had it, but what does it cost you to wait another few days or week for them to address it and preserve warranty?

Nothing. You have other heat options..

Just tell them how YOU expect it to be fixed, and let them argue that w/ the Harman engineers. That's their job.

Keeping a good thought for you, whatever you decide to do.
