Good morning, 47 to mid 50's today and coffee is on.
I gotta' sore rib or sumethin' or another that's trying to keep me down. Took my buddy a truckload of wood to his deer camp yesterday, thought I had worked it out and this morning it's back with a vengeance.
Gonna' keep movin' and hope to have a good day.
You guys be safe out there.

Up early this morning as campinspecter may have a break in the weather to go out for a load of wood. Last night was the first night I had a good night sleep without meds. Didn't overdo it yesterday but was active enough to be tired.

Yeah, thanks man,,when I woke with it, I thought it was a kidney stone,,,never had a stone but have scanned hundreds of 'em..
I helped Hippy Bob unload a bunch of 21 foot sheets of barn metal the other day, helped hang 14 of 'em..,bending and twisting is what's done me in..(that's all I can think would of done it)
Surprising really, it's not like I'm a couch potato..I haven't missed but a couple days work in 8 years but I'm wondering if I shouldn't call in for the weekend..no way I'll be able to be slinging patients around the x-ray dept. for 3 - 12 1/2 hour shifts in a row.
Started Toradol and steroids this morning.. Toradol good stuff, non narcotic, been found to be as effective as opiates for musculoskeletal injury.

I've dug ditches...kinda....trenches for irrigation systems, anyway. Trenched a few fields to drain water off them too. Some days going back to that sounds pretty darn good.

A beautiful clear fall day here. One of our sugar maples showing off with the Japanese maple in the foreground.

Yes. I do realize the progress. Thanks Dave. It has been a long, long project. I sort of combined two big projects into one. Creating the horse pasture behind the house, and clearing the site for and building the barn. Lots of trimming up of trees, removal of trees and their stumps. Rocks, rocks, and ........!:picard:  :lol:Anywho!

I was able to make a little more progress today.

I got to work and built another truss on the other end of the loft. Came out pretty good.

    image.jpeg

    Not bad. Eh?

And, about 8:30ish, my older brother showed up with one of his workers! And we started hauling/lifting lumber up to the loft.

And then, about 9:00ish, my neighbor from down the road showed up! :rootintootin:

And we got some more of that progress done!!

All rafters from outside wall to loft wall complete!:dancer::rootintootin:

You have some nice friends and family. I'm willing to bet you earned that respect. Won't be long now and you'll be putting on the roofing!

    breathtaking beautiful.

campinspecter and the supervisors went and got a load of wood and unloaded it into the wood shed before the driving rain and wind hit. It is very grey out and the waves are running wild out on the water. No gorgeous maples to look at.

Mine are all on Advantage Multi after two of them were on Revolution and started getting fleas back in the spring the one on AM was only on it because my vet likes to test the effectiveness of the products as he believes some parasites are becoming resistant to certain formulas.

Sucks about the Lyme...we don't have reported cases of it in my area yet.....
