No firewood today went Pallet hunting

    I was supposed to go pick up some firewood today but that got changed till tomorrow so I went out hunting.
    I knew where there was some and I happened to spy some other ones, one great big sucker, I had a hard time getting it in the trailer by myself , cut it in half when I got home:saw:
    One was busted up, and another flimsy one will be good for kindling:woodsign:

    Nice. Do you burn them with the nails or cut those sections out and pitch them?

    When I use them for kindling, I don't take them apart, I just cut them up , the parts with nails go right in the stove they come out with the ashes.

    I snagged a dozen from the greenhouse up the road last week and I see Probly ten more there earlier today, someone's got a stop to make on the way to work tomorrow :D
