    Hello
Every time I take the exhaust motor out there it is! LOL

If a double paddle blade came in 4.75" in diameter that would keep the ash down to a minimum!!! :)
Would a ceramic coating on the petals help?
Is there a way to make it self cleaning?
It would be nice to press a button and then some nylon bristles would flip down for a few revolutions and wipe it clean!
Maybe different shape petals to direct some of the air down to wash the mounting hub like an air wash???

    See dirty pics below
A little Dry Moly does help.

I put some dry moly on mine when I cleaned it last week. The ash came off pretty easy with an old paintbrush before.

It will be even better now!

I wonder if ceramic coating would be better on the exhaust impellers???
You can get the VHT ceramic coat ultra high temp spray paint from the auto parts store and the fire the stove slowly to cure it on the blades. That would be interesting to try.
Here is a DIY biker that did it to his Harley Exhaust! :)

    Cool!
Ceramic is much higher temp than powder coat.

Yep,guess I did not explain it well,I have used my kitchen oven, and at the snowmobile shop we had an old kitchen oven we used, but ventilation is a must, the fumes are toxic.

Classic Bay 1200!! Love that stove!!

I use dry moly but clean mine every 2 years (only 1-2 ton pushed through each of my two pellet units) . I would rather remove and clean myself

    Hi Dexter
I found a very deserving home for the CB1200 I refurbished but I miss it already. :-(

Never knew they made Hi Temp powder coat. The ceramic I think is cool......not so sure about the powder.

Yep cool stuff,I am not up to date on new stuff.Used to coat pistons and bake them in the oven, then when running, material transfer would occur to the cylinder walls. Now when you buy replacement/overbore pistons, they come coated. But now really hi temp stuff is now cheap, the ceracoat and other gun coat stuff,I need to get some and try it.
