    Stove was on when I got home. Shut down when it warmed the shack up to 72ºF. About a half hour later it fired up again? Checked the stat and it was down to 69ºF. Raised the stat up to 73ºF and tweaked the swing to 1.5º.......... Went down stairs and switched the stove to high/low.

    I'll snap the switch back to auto/off when I leave for work in the AM........ And there's white chit in the AM forecast.... What happened to fall?

    I checked out the long range forecast for this area. The highest temp between now and the end of November is 58 on Nov. 4.

    Also refired the Fahrenheit tonight. The wood stove made it comfortable, but the wife is cold. Mrs. Dex likes it warm.

    Seemed warmer today than yesterday morning. 32ºF when I left the house.

    Stuff No One Wants due to start around 9 AM............ :headbang: Momma took the car keys away from Joey. Said its best so she doesn't worry........... :doh:

    Surprised they didn't call school already. He'll likely get an early dismissal??

    It can stay warm all winta for all I care. They can keep the sn*w chit too. But we do need some for of precipitation. I'll take sn*w over ice. No likey da ice crap. And would rather save my days off to use in the warm season. :seasoned:

    Last night the weather was pretty warm with no wind at the house creep'd up to 75 F

    Decided to switch the Little stove off for the night.

    Got up a while ago to a chilly house.

    FLIPPED on the big Quad 1000 for a fast "HEATUMUP" and lit the little Whit to keep things warm.

    Shoulder season is such an up and down time.

    Raining here now, Slush is about gone. Hoping its all bye bye by morning. Stove is crankin and on high/low until bed time.

    Over night temps supposed to warm to mid 40's.
