    yes, I am going through FHC withdrawal so I am allowed 10 mins to read and answer posts today. After campinspecter cooked a rolled stuffed turkey roll and baked a bumbleberry pie, I don't think I want this foot to heal anytime soon. Thank you all for the best healing wishes. I wasn't expecting to have this done until the spring but when the call comes, you don't pass it by.

    Keeping the foot elevated for the last week enabled me to back off on the pain killers as they were really messing with my mind. I tried using the laptop on my tummy but it wasn't working that well. got to see the Cubs get the chance to go to the world series. Got to see the Blue Jays lose their chance (Boo Hiss) So I will get to see the World Series, football and curling this week.

    So many posts and so few minutes to read them all. campinspecter has been keeping posted on the latest news though.

    Thanks again for all the best wishes. I have gotten flowers from work and a huge card signed by the staff and students. Texts from my co-worker asking questions.

    Oh, oh, the timer went off. Back to the couch I go. Half way through a pair of socks. next time I get to post, I will post a picture of them.

    I still can't believe how you can lose time on meds. My question was " what would have happened if I had stayed on them full strength and they ran out in 5 days? Not a good scenerio. I think some pain is good to keep you from doing too much and injuring something that needs to heal properly.

    Anyway, I am up for longer periods during the day but still on the couch for most of the time. First checkup will be next Wednesday along with dentist work so it will be a long day.

    I know campinspecter sets a timer for my computer time but I don't need a bell to summon him as he is always there to be of help. I just have to remember that I don't run for the phone or the door when they ring.

    I think my time is up so I gotta go. I will keep you posted.

    I think that by the time I am more mobile, I will be soooo glad to be able to walk. Shopping for campinspecter is quite the adventure as pies just jump into his grocery cart.
