Never liked the taste of Starbucks and I tend to like strong azz coffee, as always YMMV. I cant for the life of me figure out why Dunkin is always packed.

I'm giving EasyBlaze another shot , 3 tons being delivered tomorrow . The only issue I had last year is that they were extremely long but still burnt find and no feed problems .:coffee: I also brew Starbucks at home .

well said, above.....3 variants of the old Okanagan.....Fir (purple bag), spruce (black and red bag), and Yellow pine (the "golds")........
Not being in the know with AB, it appears they simply bought the name, and I guess the plan is to put a great pellet in there, since Okies seemed to be well-received. Am really curious how much a name costs tho, since they likely wont be putting the same pellets in those bags we all remember.
Northern Warmth Purely Pine = Old Okanagan Gold
Northern Warmth Spruce = ? (eagle valley?)
Northern Warmth Fir = Pinnacle (pretty similar to Bear Mountain, but not the same, technically)
I don't really understand why retailers would buy from AB when they can buy from Doug, et al. Since AB is the parent co of Woodpellets.com, who would want to support the parent company of the competition.....maybe something I am not seeing here!

And I hate the disinformation, frankly. Technically NOT the same pellet.

I SO agree! If I can float a nail in it, its almost strong enough.....Dunkin is unbelievably weak....popular I guess because its fast and convenient! And I drink it black. If you need lotts of sugar, flavorings, or cream, you don't like coffee, drink tea or something (I do like Green Tea)

Sumatra, Komodo, and Caffè Verona.. These 3 are tastey if made in a french press. Seattle and deathwish are other fav's but harder to find. Usually get the SB's on sale and buy multi bags to last until the next sale. Kind like pellets

    :D

When theres a will theres a way. I have my Mr C do the water on AM timer. Its all nice and hot when I get up. Press is pre-filled with java too, So all I need to do is pure in the water. Swish for a minute and press. Drinking my first cup in 3 minutes or so. Prolly faster than my Mr C could drip a half pot.

Clean up is tougher, But worth it IMHO....

My press is the biggest I could find. Makes 3 large(12 ounce?) cups. 2 for home one for the road. They say 10 cups but they must be really tiny........

So, does anyone roast their own beans with pellet heat? Or use the beer method to decafinate their coffee?
I think I have covered all bases here.
    Coffee, pellets and beer.

This brings up a point I have often wondered. Why do retailers deal with Doug or AB. They are just middlemen that increase the cost of the product you are trying to sell. They don't produce anything for themselves. Why not go to the source directly?? Especially a retailer of significant size like yourself??

Well, I don't remember the last time I was at a DD - but I do know it was only to use the restroom while I was out riding (which means it had to been over a year ago since that was the last time I did any distance riding). At least 90% of my coffee comes from Folgers and my coffee maker (or the coffee maker at work). Every couple of weeks I spend 99 cents on a cup of coffee at Cumbies. And then I reuse that Styrofoam cup for weeks because I am too much of a spaz to not have a lid for my coffee cup :hair:, but I don't like the smell of the plastic/metal travel mugs they sell now days.
