my friend who i was working on the wood with me brought his remote helicopter thing ,i really like the shot he got of my stacks from above .
That's freaking awesome! Beautiful stacks and what are those purple foliage trees? You've almost got a firewood maze going there...FHC members would pay admittance to walk through and gaze upon all those splits I'm betting---you just need a few more rows and I see a masterpiece...Nice work sir- Like to have info on the copter/cam/cost also if you would please
one tree is a flowering plumb the other one is a japanese maple ,i will ask him what the make/model is of the copter .
I thought plum was one of them-used to have two beautiful ones at my late mom's next door, Thundercloud I believe they were called-grew to 18-20 dbh and just died from something-they were gorgeous...now I have 2 Qwanzan and 2 Yoshina cherries that have died and have to be taken down this winter, due to standing in flood water best I can figure-sucks but guess they will burn ok
O K now I really have an excuse for getting one of those drones! Here's my best shot at an aerial stack view from back in the spring 50' up in the big cottonwood by the barn doing some deadwood pruning
22-24 , ( not enough ) some is in piles and not stacked ,the last load i got we and sent to friends,no more room
I have a drone and some aerial videos of the woodshed in my yard, but my woodshed is embarrassingly mostly empty. I'll link one of the first videos I made where you can glimpse my pathetically empty woodshed that is cluttered with junk, however in the vain hope of redeeming some of my self respect I'll first post a picture of the first new load of wood we just brought home in two years. Oh, and as a side note, another possible use of a drones for wood burners is to use it to do a cursory but close up inspection of your chimney cap. Maybe I'll make a video of that.
