    We were able to get the rest of the loft floor joist in place. Put the rim/cap joist on, and complete the center block bracing between the joist. Then we called beer:30!:thumbs:

    Went out for a nice anniversary dinner. Had a steak, ribs, salad, sweet potato, and a bud.:cheers: No bread or desert. I go t he smallest stake they have and that is plenty. Wife had to bring most of hers home in a box. She is on an antibiotic because she is being treated for a tick bite. She doesn't even walk on the grass. Dogs must have brought it in.
    Was nice to get out and enjoy ourselves.
    Meanwhile, a couple hour drive away from here looks like this:

    No, I didn't go there. (rangely) no way am I in a hurry for that mess. It is predicted for us this Friday. Blarr.
