As many know, my ornery wife and I spent last weekend at the Woodstock Soapstone Open House out in NH. We had a grand time and returned home last evening.

Fortunately we were able to visit with Shawn Curry on our way out and he even put us up for the night. Thank you Shawn Curry as it was our good pleasure to visit, eat your food and drink your beer! We should get together more often!

At the Open House we got to visit with old friends and made even more friends. A special thanks to fishingpol My IS heats my home Canadian border VT and many more. Some we did not get to visit with long while these other 3 we were able to spend much time with and it was really enjoyable. Funny part is Judy and I were the first to arrive at the open house and Canadian border VT and us were the last to leave the party. The time went fast! The food was good and so was the beer. I even made a point to drink an extra beer for raybonz who had to work that day so was not able to join us.

Yes it is. I just re-lit the fire again before it cools off too much. Even my wife said to go ahead and she'd gladly open a window if need be just to have a nice warm house.

Yes, there is a stash there Dave and also 2 1/2 cord in the barn. Will probably get another trailer load from the outdoor pile for the porch then start using from the barn after that.

Can't like having the cold set into the furniture etc. Wood heat will cure that in little time.

Yes, it did! House heated up nicely very fast. But it was not below freezing either.

Sounds like a great time. I would have loved to meet everyone, but unfortunately I was working, and it's a new job, so didn't want to request a day off already!
