He probably moves 2 tons a year . I'm sure people only buy them when they run out and it's freezing .:shiver:

No. I noticed alot of places that carried them last year have stopped and replacing them with blackstones seems to be the trend

FSU's are $259 @ our HD. Haven't changed in several months. Sam's Club has Penningtons @ $225. [IMG] I don't know what our WalMart is selling or their price.

I bought 10 bags of FSU at Home Depot last week.I don't know if they are this year's or last but they are burning great. These pellets ignite faster than any pellet I have ever seen. Some pellets just sit there and smolder forever but these things start quick.

I stocked up on Packsaddle Pellets (DF's) again this year at the same $220/ton I've paid the past 3 years. Super clean and hot.

Z how do you like those packsaddles? There is a store over here selling them this season. Thought of grabbing some to try, if they do a nice sale.

Burning some chows now and liking this batch a lot. Super hot and ash is no problem. Firesides are next up after the chows, but prob won't get to them for a couple weeks. Got these FSUs at HD in the spring.

I do kind of understand the mentality though. They are easily broken, spoiled, and you wont sell many of them unless you make a pretty big commitment to do so. So, he has them if you need them, but at his price as well.
