Looks like the extended guess-cast shows no overnights into the 20's for another week. I'll bet that we'll see some before the weeks over though......
Going down to 2c (35f) tonight and already at 5c (41f) now. Got a couple small unglies rolling away in the furnace. Plenty warm in the old farm house
Well gang, its good to see its less of an exclusive group burning up until now and more of the wider membership heating up homes with their the stoves. It seems like a flood gate of wood burning is underway across the land. My hats off to all the wood burners out there enjoying glorious wood heat. I hope everyone has warm homes and warm hearts this winter.
Just saw the extended guesscast and see that nothing below 30 for the lows for another 7 days! Just a little kicker fire here and there and it'll be good.
I think we had 39 or 40 this morning so we had a Cherry fire and I just started a second Cherry fire when I came in from outside.
51 here going down to 34 tonight; a toasty 77 in the living room . Burning a half load of silver maple shorties. So nice to have a fire going again! Happy burning everyone !
Low 50s here daytime low 30s at night just quick burns to take the chill off maple mostly little bit of cherry
38° currently with wind and spotty sleet going down to 30° Cold front Blowing through, Thursday morning we'll see 22°
Currently about 36 here and they say a low of 26 in the early morning. I'm burning and gasifying Ash and Maple in the boiler at the moment.
I haven't been around much for a couple weeks. Just long enough to drop off a birthday cake a few days ago. Looks like I'll be joining the "steady fire" club now too. No highs above 60F this week and lows in the 30's and low 40's. Sure is toasty in here right now.
