Wife finally asked me to lite the stove, so last evening I burned for a few hours to take the chill off. Tues morning we woke up to a frosty lawn.

I will see if I can get a pic of my cookstove uploaded savage. Its Amish built function over form all welded construction. Looks good thou we put the warming rack on it. Would like to have the warming oven on top too but it's spend. I drug out the old irons that you heat on top the stove leftovers from the days before me! Wife kindly instructed me that they were only for looks, she ain't gonna use em! 25 degrees today chilly. Gonna run the 390 XP tomorrow on some big oak. Gotta run the 555 A.T. Sewell I love that saw.

Sounds good Huskyuser The warming oven really do come in handy. If nothing else, it is a great place to store your gloves, if you can get away with it.

I really miss the northern lights. When we were Yoopers we always looked forward to seeing them. Here we rarely see them.

It's been considerate of him not to sell it to anyone but who knows, maybe it would work for them. He could try selling it. If he wakes up one winter morning and his house has been toilet-papered, then maybe it didn't work.

Fur should be getting prime with cold weather, short days. I'm over run with beaver again. Market is down but I gotta take a bunch their doing damage. Need to teach the grandkids trapping, it's a vital skill! Hope I can do it as well as my Dad and Grandpa taught me. Coyote snares are ready to go too!
