    They are the most expensive pellet in my area right now. And don't really feel, based on last years burn of them, that they are worth what they are charging for them. Might give them a kick again this year though. But would only buy a few bags.

    What do you typically burn for pellets?

    :) Hey, I'd probably hold out to this winter as well, not like they go bad. But can't blame a guy for trying to get a deal.

    Northern Warmth...didn't take over anyone...It is a brand new brand that was started by International Wood Pellet Sales (IWPS...which is also a new company) as they saw the void in the marketplace that would be created by Viridis/Merchants/Okanagan going down. They are using some of the same suppliers, but the brand is new for 2016 in the New England, NY, NJ and PA market....The business model is similar but with some better options to what Viridis was doing, but IWPS actually has the proper funding backing them.... I think you will find they establish themselves very quickly as one of the better brands right out of the gate.

    There are some NW dealers explicitly stating "Okanagan Wood Pellets are now Northern Warmth Wood Pellets", among other things. One of them even has a professionally prepared graphic image stating that. Expect both IWPS and AM Bio want that sorted out ASAP.

    Agree seemed to be a lot of dealers that were saying northern warwmth = oakanagan seems a few too many for it to be coincidence, and most have deleted it from their pages now. Seems fishy, i feel like it was directed by someone to jumpstart the new brand.

    Snapped a few pic's of some of the sites. I kind of bet the dealers will still express the likeness verbally..........

    Even my local guy had it on his site!! Bet he changes it soon. I tried to catch a few more, But like you said. Already taken down....... They can't all be reading it here! Seems fishy!!

    So what you are saying is the brand is new but the pellets are the same, hence Northern Warmth = Okanagon.
