Last time I saw those around here was in 2007/2008. They burned good but were pricey. That dealer closed their doors and I never saw Pinnacle's again.

OK. One of my local shops is only carrying them now. What I'd really like to find is Curran but no sign of them this year. Lots of Oxford Harwoods. Burned them for a couple years now. They are ok.

Yeah, very pricey. No deals this year either. I know the local that carries them had a chit load left over from last year and wouldn't give me a deal when I was trying to buy a couple skids in June.

One of the few pellet shops in my State has them. The store is about two hours away.

They told me there a top grade and they charge top dollar for them. They where priced more than anything I have seen in our State.

I was not able to try any. I was told there sold only in tons and what little amount they get in each was already paid and spoken for.

I would have to really tax my memory on this one....but I think the last time I sold DM in NE was 2009-2010....had a very loyal following....but Pinnacle pretty much only bags for their local Canadian market anymore....they really are set up as a large bulk pellet operation....all 6 mills of them...

Guess I should have specified green bag okies with the tree. The other 2 aren't what AM Bio is selling.

And I don't remember seeing the PFI stamp on the Platinum bags?? Parent mill may have been PFI. But were the bags labeled as such?

I don't think any of the bags had the PFI logo on them.

No they were not, but you are correct the parent mill(s) were...well for the most part PFI members....but all the Northern Warmth are....as they only have one supplier for each brand and we plan on keeping it that way....I can't comment on what AB is or isn't going to be putting in their "new" Okie brand as I simply don't know like everyone else....but I'm 99.99% sure it won't be one the past suppliers that was put in the old CPM/Viridis/Merchants ...Platinum product.....Douglas Fir and Gold were only one supplier each and I'm pretty sure they won't be using either one of those since they are not selling that type of Okie, as I understand it...could be wrong, but I doubt it...at least for the time being.

The old white bag/green pine tree Okies were ALL from the OPC plant in Kelowna BC...That was auctioned off this past summer and is on longer in operation....it has been several years since those pellets have been used as a Okie Platinum pellet.....ever since they lost KPR railway service into Kelowna.

That would be correct.......the new Northern Warmth bags all have the logo on the bag....all 3 brands

Lil birdy told me Eagle Valley for now. Same as their CleanFire pacific's. But could sub other mills if need be.

Is there still a 'super premium' classification?
I thought that was done away with?

Not on PFI labeled stuff, But some of the non PFI-ers are still using it. Basically can call them whatever you want if your not PFI associated..........

Hench some of them using or calling their stuff Platinum or Ultra premiums.
