99 always makes sport of me whenever I prep the pot the evening before!
I'm finding out that there are a lot of people that do the same to avoid the spills in the morning.

Caffeine going down here as well friends. Have to make a quick trip over to the Amish saw mill to order some extra lumber. We made a few changes so far and stole some of the hay loft floor joist for beams since they are all 2x12s. Now it's time to do floor joist.  :lol:Oh well, I have plenty to get started and do more than half the loft. Then we could start the loft walls if we wanted while we wait for those to be cut. Hopefully my Amish friends can come through for me quickly!

Wish me luck, and all you hoarders have a great and safe day!

Morning all. Clear day here, so after morning intake, outside to finish up the last few things needed to be done before winter. According to the local guesstimators, the temps are supposed to dump the end of this week with a pile of rain forecasted starting Thursday. Everyone have a great and safe day in whatever your up to......................

Good morning, coffee is stihl going down, temps might reach mid 80's today.
I did some painting (priming) last nite after work on the ply I hung around/over the workbench and the 1st coat of polyurethane is on the 3/4" oak I'll be using for a new top. I'm hoping it's all dry enough to re-coat here shortly, it feels kinda' cool and damp out of doors. I almost hooked the woodstove up last nite to keep the dampness at bay but had swilled a couple cold frosties and ended up hitting the hay..

Right where I want to be.
Wife and I spent some time in the garden yesterday spreading straw. The chickens did a great job getting rid of most of the weeds.
Finally got started yesterday on a wall rack system for the all the Oak boards in the shop. I think I need another 10' piece of 3/4" EMT though. Got the idea from Jay Bates channel.........

well just got done paying my taxes:eek: then called local utility company because they parked a 6 foot flashing road sign in my front yard without asking.. I mean I live on the road I know it's the best spot but ask first!

I said I'd post some pics in daylight so here they are. 4 rows 14 long average 7 foot high about 16 ti 18 wide.. rough 4 cord. so this year's stack must be over 5 cord cause little less than half a row left.. my tape must be broke:emb: but I will stop at 6 cords on deck to leave room for grill and wife's wine and chat chairs... that's thoughtful and romantic according to my wife... man did I marry the right one..

I had a speed sign parked in my yard for a week or so. Thought about calling just to complain about no notice. But didn't - after all, the town claims that part for their right of way so theoretically they can do whatever they want without any warning. If only they would claim it for the mowing

bottom pic all lean back against wall and on each other...
top pic yup they all tend to lean out :emb: but just went out and checked rock solid..
it's how I crib.. some are shorter 14 inches some are longer 18 when I do a longer split I weave then into rows.. so they tend to widen at top not narrow .. they don't fall over on deck.. at 7 feet plus high..
