    Highs here still in 60s but nights now high 30s, so figured it would be a good time to get rid of splitter scraps and crank up

    Nothing wrong with some "preliminary" burning......but we'll be mild again next week here in central PA.

    We've had three fires this past week, I gotta say I'm looking forward to the cold weather!

    Love that splitter, though not cheap. Been selling some camp firewood, and so recently priced out a 6 way wedge for it. Good grief, over $700 bucks. So will be using the 4 way wedge for immediate future. Have to sell a heck of a lot of camp bundles to justify that.

    I highly suggest using the search all of craigslist website. I have come across many timberwolf wedges over the last year, running in the 200-300 range. Still expensive, but solid. If I see anything, I will PM you. :dex:

    You no doubt will get warm as were are predicted to reach 70 again by Saturday then stay around there for several days with rain.
