    IMG_0962.JPG Still have a lot to cut IMG_0953.JPG Elevator was 25.00 dollars at an auction. My tractor runs it and the splitter we built. IMG_0957.JPG Saw bench IMG_0966.JPG just thought I would share how we do wood. It might give some some ideas.

    Yea we cut about 40 cords a year to feed 2 owb and a stove in our shop. Try to cut 2 years worth every year.

    No 40 per year only burn about 20 to 25 between all the wood stoves

    It does have a 4 way wedge if you look closely on a hydraulic cylinder at the bottom of the splitter IMG_0952.JPG IMG_0951.JPG

    nice pics! OK so the skids terr loads logs to cutting tables, then to splitter, then elevator to dump... what's your choke point ... besides you? :D looks like an efficient setup!

    I have a little problem with buying tool and now I'm so deep into wood cutting just can stop now. You always find a new way to make it a little easier but that usually involves new tools. We can split about 11 cords a day but that's if everything is going great and we only haul it 100 yards to dads wood shed and my stacks are 1.5 miles away
