Up early today as campinspecter is headed out for a load of wood. I have got many things to do around the house as well. Raisin bread baking is one of them. Bookkeeping another. Thanksgiving weekend is here but I don't know if I am going to cook a turkey.

Right where I want to be.
Brought a small chest freezer back from downstate that was given to us by one of my wife's brothers.
We have 4 turkeys that will be gracing the inside of that thing sometime this week. They're still out in the pen right now, but nap time is coming....soon. They have no idea.
    We haven't informed them yet.
My firewood guy texted me Friday that he had some truck issues, so the firewood won't be delivered until sometime this coming week.......probably next Saturday.

    Mmmm, raisin bread. :)

Missed church but I made some Rice Krispy treats for the Sunday school kids and dropped them off on our way to the Legion Pancake breakfast this morning.

Sat with a couple cousins and got caught up with family news. My bride is off to paint her dad's garage before it gets too cold. I'm off to get a little work done at the office, so I can get back in time to watch the Packers tonight.

    Have a great day everyone!

Off in a few to see Sturgill Simpson in the city, nasty weather but from his shows online I think it will be worth the trip.

Well I didn't get as many studs cut as I wanted to.

image.jpeg Always something that comes up.

But ran around and got stuff ready, borrowed three nail guns from my brother, two of them cordless Pasloads:thumbs:and bought framing nails and gas for them. Also borrowed extra saw horses, cords, compressors for air gun, sliding compound miter saw, etc. Great to have brothers who are contractors. Unfortunately for me they are swamped with work right now!  But good for them.

All leveling back off around piers done. Sill plate bought, etc.

Rebuilt one of the sliding doors on an old shed at the farm. Trying to tighten it up to store some stuff there.
The door on the right is solid, I gotta replace some boards on the wall between them and then throw some barn paint on the whole thing.

Crazy busy weekend. Running on about 8 hours of sleep since Thursday morning...brain has all but shut down.

Yard work, tree rat hunting, camping, and helped my BIL butcher a deer. There's probably more but I can't remember.

FINALLY got the antique upright piano moved! What a relief that was. Yeah, it still works, too!
