Loaded up the sawbuck and let the new saw (thank you) rip through it. Over and over again until everything in the yard was cut. So I brought in the next load. And made short work of that too! The old lady and the spliter coukdn't keep up, but our youngest and our nephew were able to keep up with the splitter and all that is stacked. Going back out after lunch to do some more splitting.
We should have everything split and stacked in about an hour. Then we will know where we stand for next year.

We hit a little snafu when the old lady sheered of the bolt holding the wedge on, but I put a paper clip through it and we were able to finish up. Blondie is almost done stacking and it looks like we will need about one more truck load to finish things off for the year. That shorter section to the left is this year's wood-- it is half as long but has four rows. Over by yonder spliter is where the wood pile was.

Locust, walnut and elm I got paid to cut at work. Locust, ash, a little maple and a touch of apple my buddy and I pulled out of the tree dump in pole form.
Thought maybe with the first pic and groovy bends in it,might be Locust. Did ya's get into the thorns?
