    Marines are there. More help is arriving. I have a nephew in the Navy heading there. They have a tough job ahead of them with the devastation.

    I just spoke with my uncle in Vero Beach, they stayed in their house but lost power. He has the generator running so they do have electricity.

    He did say the area has a chit load of trees down.

    Glad to hear that he is safe , looks like my daughters will get several inches of rain , but not the high winds and they are 20 + miles inland so no storm surge worries .

    Thanks Man appreciate that , talked with them yesterday as they were getting a few supplies Beer , wine , H2O , snacks , Beer , batteries , candles ..
    they said stores were well stocked busy but not crowded and if it gets bad they have local friends that have lived thru hurricanes offered to let them stay with them .

    My 2 friends one in florida Flagler beach area Is Ok, Other Ladys Island South Carolina she is about 100 hundred miles inland and doesn't know about her house and storm not even gone through there yet....But no matter she is safe with her 2 dogs...:thumbs:

    glad they are safe will.. still waiting on a few friends to get back in touch they lost power at 9 pm last nite.. this am cell was dying.. waiting ... for them to post anything anywhere... up here in the north we may get 3 feet of snow and 30 below.... but that's easy compared to a class 4! well for us anyway!

    Up date my daughters are fine they lost power for a few hours , back on now some flooding on the back roads , not to bad for them .:thumbs:
