Another "Great" weather day on tap. Sounds like things are headed downward starting next week. Got about 2 more days of "outside" work to "Git er' done". Loading up on caffeine and fresh "sticky" buns, then off we go. Everybody have a great and safe day.

"Great" weather day here also Rotti. I-70 closed from Georgetown to Silverthorne, snow and multiple accidents.
I lucked out and was able to cross the median and get back home. Have some snow on the decks but not much.

Really nice weather today for doing just about anything. I went back and forth between moving dirt and then break and switch to mixing mortar or concrete by hand in the wheelbarrow and filling some more blocks. Putting some rebar down in. (Strengthening some areas of the walls for piece of mind.) Then switch back to dirt moving. I tired now!

Mom is gone to daughters away soccer game so I run other daughter to dance then here to pick up son at his practice, then back to pick up daughter at dance! :hair: Then I have to get home to dig holes for piers before dark, so my mason can build and drop forms in tomorrow evening. Holes are layed out. But it gets dark early. Ugh.:picard:

Does anyone have some cheese to go with my wine?o_O

Mrs. Beetle, (I hesitate to use the second word..."kill!)
Let me tell you a story about a wife seeing red.

My wife at the time (now ex) gave me a good ripping about something...who knows what....probably deserved it, but I digress) and then jumped in the car to leave. Only thing is when she backed up, she "forgot" to use the brake pedal soon enough and hit my Harley broadside sending it for a little low flight level before a crash landing! You should've seen the look on her face when she got out of the car! She was seeing red when she left the house, but once she hit the bike, the anger turned into something else like genuine concern and remorse! I reacted calmly and asked her to not drive while she was so mad......
She said it was an accident.
My kids still remind her of the day she hit Dad's Harley! She'll never live it down from them.
At this very moment, she is out on the western slope and should be driving past your place probably on Fri or Sat.
So if you're in a parking lot and see someone with Michigan plates backing up......:hair:

I took today off, I spent a few hours at the neighbor's in front of an outdoor fire which was nice.

Tomorrow in the afternoon I'll see how the chipper is running, we'll try chipping up some Pine branches.

On Thursday I'll be working on some walking trails with the wife and then on Friday we'll be working on widening some existing trails near some wood stacks so the tractor has more room.

Been a week or so since I've been on, so much going on and no time to FHC...

Anyways, as I mentioned in another thread a few minutes ago, I'm having my tree guy
over tomorrow to remove a couple "iffy" maple trees that would likely cause trouble
over the winter not to mention the possibility of Matthew coming to visit in the next week
or so. I'm trying to be proactive before I have to pay out a insurance deductible.

Set up two furnaces today. Should be able to finish one tomorrow and the other on Thu. I would've rather had a day like thewoodlands instead!
