I checked the rain gauge after it stopped raining this morning, a quarter of an inch of rain.

We pulled our setup for our pole beans today, I'll give the deer another week of eating the green stuff in that area before I start stacking the pine.

Errands ran this morning. Dump run. Lunch with parents.

I picked up all the roofing and material to go with today. And a few more pieces of lumber from the Amish saw mill.

My neighbor let me borrow his trailer again. Big help.

So I went with the commercial grade roofing. 26 gauge with the R corrugation. Heavier than the normal 29 gauge and a deeper corrugation that is structurally stronger. image.jpeg

Dark green, and also ordered the matching ridge cap, drip edge, and they made the facia out of coil stock while I waited today.

Everything unloaded and put away. Then late this afternoon I moved a little more dirt. We are getting close now.

I will get started on sill plate on Friday. I hope. Then probably spend Saturday cutting studs for all outside walls. This will take a while. First end needs to be squared and cut. Then exact measurement made and cut. Helpers now arriving in on Sunday. Monday we will begin building.

It's a pretty messy job...  no green grass here let me tell ya! Today we had to do a concrete patch at this farm. We cleaned the floor completely and then torched it dry and went over it with leveling concrete. Hard to see it but the rotary is on the left and the cows go in and off right in the spot I took the pic.

Replaced the 9 outdoor flood lights (yes that's a lot) with LED bulbs. Went from 1080 watts 117. We don't use them much but when on of the kids leaves them on accidentally all day it kills me.

Did a flush and fill on the truck tonight. Oil change tomorrow night. Get all that stuff out of the ways before it gets cold.

    I need some opinions here.
A couple of weekends ago I trimmed a few branches on a tree up front. One limb in particular was about 1-1/4 in diam, about 16" long. I missed it when doing clean up.
The wife is mowing the lawn in that area and sees the limb. She chucks it over shoulder, hits her car and puts a dent in it. It's now my fault.
Be honest, she'll read this- good, bad, or indifferent. Do I share 50% of the blame because I didn't pick it up?

If you were to reverse the circumstances, would she accept 1/2 of the blame?

Probably not but remember, she must feel terrible and even a bit foolish and is looking for someone to share these feelings of blame with....you!

Oh oh! The next time I'm blasting trough on I-70, I'm going to have to watch out for her, no?

That logic of her blaming you for her mistake doesn't fly.

Sooner rather than later, she'll have to admit it was all her fault.

As you say Yoop, if it were the other way around, she wouldn't be at fault.

How's this compare- If I loaded a magazine and she took it, then hit something she didn't intend to. Would I have to share 1/2 the responsibility of the mis-hit?
