Walked on to a project site today.

I ask one of the construction workers "I'm looking for Brian, do you know where I can find him?"

He replies "Yeah, he should be over their....he's the old guy"

Walk over to the area. I see just one guy, but he doesn't look old. He looks more my age. "I'm looking for Brian" I say

He smiles and answers "That's me"

Old??? I fight back the urge to kick the first guy in the shins.

Busy, yet productive day. Nailed an agreement to sell a stump grinder of mine; delivered a load of topsoil; sold a ms660 to a , then turned around and bought some parts/projects saws off of him. Got an scored ms361, running ms460 and a scored ms660 for $350. Right before work I bid and won a small tree job. Now I'm at work still on the grind.

Now we're getting somewhere. Backfilling almost complete.

These pictures were taken earlier today. More work has been done after the pics.

Here you can see the first two rooms will have small stone and we think we are going to do wood plank floors over the stone in those two rooms. Tack room and office/feed room. The office/feed room won't have much room in it after we build a set of stairs up to the loft in there.
    image.jpeg
I took the fence down and moved the post, took the three Pine trees down that were too close to the back of the barn. Now started the fill coming into this area. There will be a lot of buckets brought in here!

    image.jpeg
I am feeling a lot better about this project now.
    image.jpeg
My neighbor came down again today and helped me out a lot with his Kubota. A great neighbor!

Just before dinner I was able to pound the fence post in further back away from the barn and put the fence back up. Then added a gate and now the other half of the spoiled ones pasture is ready for them to use. They have pretty much eaten the first half off already!o_O Hogs. I mean. Horses!:picard:

That looks to be a big building you are putting up. How many horses are you planning on? I don't know how you will have time for camp, horses and other hobbies. Lots going on there.

Nice work Gasifier , it's looking "GOODER" every day. How much hay will the horses eat over the winter?

36' X 54'. We have two horses now. They will be it for a while. The barn will have six horse stalls and was originally 36'x42', but I added another 12' bay on the end for storage. Could keep many "work related tools" and things in there. Mowers, wood splitter. Who knows. Maybe eventually a used/older skid steer or a four wheeler or side by side. I know that you know, that work has to be done.:D

Thank you. Approximately 180-200 each. We are putting up 250 bales per horse though. 250 already stacked on pallets outside and covered with heavy tarps. (That was fun.:loco: ) Another 250 Around the third week of October. Hopefully we will have the roof on the barn by then.

Now generally I get a sweet tooth every once and a while.

Tonight I had one after eating dinner. So my daughter made us all Ultimate Chocolate Brownies!

Now generally I would eat two brownies and a small glass of milk.

But these were Ultimate Chocolate Brownies, hot out of the oven! So I ate four of them and a large glass of milk with ice in it. Oh my.

You will need to run a lot of miles to burn those babies off. I know you are watching your waist line.
