After dinner I started a small Cherry fire, we'll have another before we hit the hay.

Yes, the popcorn maker is a Star like this one.

The beer can is actually a caffeine free Mt. Dew.

I think I may be spending more time there that in the cottage!

Watching Tony Romo's chances of keeping his job fade away as Dak Prescott continues to do a heck of a job against the Bears.

Worked a good chunk of the day then hit Lowes and Menards with my bride to look over some landscaping material....but at least I didn't buy any laundry detergent this time. :)

Back to work tomorrow after 9 days off. The suck factor is high. Another week off in 4 weeks though...so there's that.

Every day is a day off for me. I have dreams that I am working, usually the nightmare type! Just crazy what goes on in dreams. Sometimes I think I would like to work again, but not in the high stress positions I last held. Maybe do some volunteering some place.

31 in Auburn Maine this monin... hehehe... ;) Coffee's already down... gonna be a great day of doin' small jobs. One, is cleaning and bolting down a new (used) cap on my truck that I picked up yesterday. Folks I bought it from lived 2/3 mile down a very rough woods road... log cabin sitting on a tiny pond... loved it. They'd been there 14 years so far. Yup, lots of farwood everywhere. I spent an hour walking around their place swapping remote living stories with them (nice folks) and 10 minutes with the cap.

    Monin hawduhs...

Definitely the worst part about having time off!
I'd like to say your day will get better, but.....

How about just "Hang in there"?

Lucky to those of you that can stay dry and warm while at work today. Not all of us, though.

Broken bulb - I switched the bulbs around to make sure it wasn't the socket. Weird because I shook the bulb and didn't get the noise they usually make when dead - but at least it is just a minor annoyance. Plus, haven't had light there since last winter, so already have way more than I had
