This is the West Fork of the Cedar. I've seen it much worse here but sounds like the Cedar itself is really on a tear as well. I've never had water this high this time of year. Gonna get real ugly downstream.

Daggum turkeys reminding me that it's not turkey season. Been strutting and gobbling all day long. Might have to try a fall hunt this year.

I can tell you that half way between Jaffrey and Concord it was much warmer - lowest my weather station got was 47*. I'm near valley bottom, so was still 6-7* cooler than up the hill 2 miles away.

Funny - I checked out Burlington's forecast for Concord, then went to Grey, ME site (Concord's official weather service) and the forecasts aren't the same :wacky:. Off by several degrees (tonight) and timing off by a couple hours (Like Monday night showers). I didn't even look at any of the rest of the lines, so don't know where else they digressed. What do I expect from weather guessers - hedging their bets so maybe they can point to one of the services being close :loco: .

Hot, humid and eventually a rain filled day.

Didn't get a lot done after work, but I was able to finish my hackberry stack while I was out with the dogs this morning....which was after their donut run today. :)

Sounds like tomorrow will be better weather so I hope to bring more wood over to the house after church.

Another load of Amish lumber for the barn brought home today. 99% of lumber now here. Just a few more 1x10x12' needed.

Before that he helped me wire the house end of the underground wire for the barn into the sub panel here at the house. Fed off a double 50 breaker. Now we are all set for power feed once we get the first wall built we can wire the panel box up and a couple outlets and flip the switch for power at the barn!

    They sure did.

Alex Hornibrook has some crazy accuracy. Dude was chucking lasers, dropping dimes on that vaunted sparty D. Plus our defense was playing lights out. As a red shirt freshman, the rest of the big ten better start worrying. We've never had a good QB, well we did for 1 year.

Next is the the wolverines. If they play like that again, the Badgers are going to be very tough to beat.

Got the pool closed. Ah, what a great feeling not to have to mess with it until next year.

Temps going down to 37° Monday night. That's low for this end of the state. Might have the first fire!

For many years I had wanted a tree to fall on ours. A branch fell on it once popping the liner, but that tree finally fell...the wrong way.:headbang:
