Thanks. We had a great time. I agree with you and NortheastAl, it was a blast driving her. 1947 Buick 8...a straight 8 with 3 on the tree and a very sticky clutch. :)

Made it through in style, lots of candy thrown and even taught Ryan how to drive her after the parade was over.

A really good day with my young man!

Ya. And if he didn't, should he be getting a second opinion?

    That looks good!

We had some sweet Italian sausage that needed to be cooked up before they went bad. My wife said I'm not cooking them now. :picard:It was only 8:20 at night, and it's not like she just got back from a soccer game with all the kids after teaching a bunch of 1st graders all day! Geeesh. So I cooked them up on the grill and ate 2 of them on a slice of bread with mustard. Mmmm. And there may, or may not, have been a couple cold Blue Lights tipped back.

The V-8 Fushion Energy is going in. Orange Pineapple. Today will be a combination of small projects while I wait for the clay to dry out.

Coffee intake now. I WAS going to make a trip to deer camp to see what my forester marked for sale (130 trees on 5 acres  ) but a blm protest downtown has me avoiding my normal route thru indy and 2nd guessing if getting 100 miles from home if poo decides to hit the fan is a good idea. Hopefully it stays peaceful. My ghb will be very well stocked today.

Cold front arrived overnight. Finally, a week of cooler weather. Should be closing the pool today if it doesn't rain. Finishing the first cup of coffee and getting ready for the second.

Coffee and breakfast incoming. Then work on getting the screen room ready for winter and loading of wood for upcoming burn season. Temp here around 40, leaves changing. Afternoon of Big 10, first Wisc/MS and then my two favorites Big Blue/Penn State. Everybody have a great day and stay safe.........

I usually plant an acre or so of pumpkins. Been wet this year, didn't have a real good crop anyway. Went out this morning and tried to salvage what we could. First time I ever harvested pumpkins with a canoe.

Yeah, after the Badgers game, I'll have to get the lawn mowed. I'm sure there's à lot more that needs to be done though. It was warm this AM, sunny too. Note it's cloudy, and a little chilly with the windows open. The weather guessers said there'd be rain early. None of that.
