I bought a pair of Urban Star jeans from Costco here in Canada for about $15 and they are by far the most comfortable jeans ever because they are stretchy (2% spandex). They look and feel like jeans but wear like track pants :yes:Full mobility. I went back and bought another pair.

I own a couple pair, but I like my Proper tactical pants better-- same gusset as the ballroms.

I love the feel of them.
I wish "fancier" brands did this so I could not look like a camando or and old man when I want to be comfortable and work.

My favorite pair are the insulated Duluth, wear them all the time in the winter, snowmobiling huntin Workin.

I get the Duluth mailers but I've never ordered anything. I'm a carhartt guy.

Don't know why, but that gusset is much more appreciated now than when I was younger. I hate getting pinched, or squeezed down there. I'll buy relaxed fit, expanding waist etc. so when I move the pants move with me instead of pulling on me. If it isn't comfortable, I'm not wearing it.

That's part of what I like about the Propers, there is some elastic on the sides of the waist to make it fit more comfortably. I think they call it an "actikn waist."

I really need to find a place that sells proper AND comfortable jeans. The stuff they have in most stores is tight as :stacke:

I haven't bought underwear for the same reason you mentioned, but I have bought shirts and pants, jackets, and shoes. I have to say that they are worth every cent I paid. Of course, I buy when I get sales offers. When I Christmas shop there for the men in my family, I buy a big amount, so the sales at that time can cut as much as a third of my purchase and get free shipping.

I only wear Proper BDU's! I have something like 15 pair, 10 for working around the home, and 5 for dress. They are comfortable and the side pockets will carry a multitude of items. Recently I carried a mid sized 4 in one screwdriver, Large torx driver with 10 tips in the handle, a torpedo level, mid sized pair of pliers, pair of scissors, and roll of electrical tape, all in one pocket. On the other side I had two security cameras.

I've worn that style for many many years. (in black)

Okay, so I don't have that crotch problem! But as long as my butt fits em, I'm gooder to go! :D

Agree with you on that. dress for comfort. I'm too darn old to worry about looking like I'm in the in group. I only want to "fit in" my jeans.
