Watched my son's shoulder get dislocated and also his knee bent a direction it shouldn't have during his HS football days. the shoulder still bothers him well past 10 years later (13-14?)
Knee turned out OK, did not require surgery. Shoulder popped out a few more times during basketball games....

Wow 16" ? Some scattered rain predicted for Sunday into Monday. There are 3 tropical storms out in circulation, a fourth is forming. Maybe we'll see some soaking rain out of those.

Early bird got the worm this morning.

That is what the meteorologist said the other day on the local TV station - that is for the ManchVegas area. They just enlarged the "extreme drought" area for the state as well as the "sever drought" area (of which I am on the line between the two). It is pretty sad when we are actually counting "rains" that add 0.01" to our total as an event. Heck, last weekend I got 1/16" and that tripled what I had gotten over the last 2 weeks.

MAYBE rain on Sunday, but I wouldn't count on it; we got basically nothing out of the last storm.

Right the severe storms event a few days ago fizzled out to just a few drops.
