Glad everyone is ok. Wow that dang tree tried to take y'all out! I suggest cutting it in small pieces and burning it in effigy over a series of winter nights.

    Glad you're ok Greg.
BTW, what are the odds of someone from this wood burning forum having this happen? I wonder if the trees are going all activist on us.

Would be covered under comprehensive coverage just like a deer hit or hail storm and doubtful they would try to go after anyone for liability.

Glad to hear you are all OK.
I had an experience much like that a few years back. I was leaving a picnic along with quite a few other folks and caught some motion high in my windshield so I got on the throttle. After I stopped there was a foot or so diameter tree top laying across the access road. The car behind me saw it happening and got stopped in time too. After that it was pull the bow saw out of my trunk and cut that top enough that a few of us working together could open the road back up. There was no other exit from the place.

Exactly. However; what I expected to see by this page were the pictures of you cutting away with your dump trailer in the background. :)

Now that we know and are glad that your OK, the next question is........did you get the wood or not? :D Surely your hoarding instincts kicked in after you changed your drawers.
