This local place is now offering MWO at $239.

I saw 2 different bags but same product?

The first picture is the 100% softwood product and the second picture is the typical blend. Are they both priced at $239?

    Yes, I think so.
    I haven't tried their 100% softwood.

Do the 2 typically have a price difference?

Dunno. None of the stores around here are selling the softies yet. You may be the first one on this forum to see them at a store this season. $239 is a good price and I suppose it makes sense for them to cost the same, since they all come from the same mill. FYI depending on the store, around here MWPs go for $10 - $30 per ton more than your price, funny how that works.

That is a good price for MWP. Good products. I have burned both. Can't say I noticed a difference.

Sorry, I thought Geek was in SW CT. That's why the price seems funny. They cost more here, and we are closer to the mill.

that's a pretty good price then, factoring in shipping.....if I were you, and you liked Maine, likely this will be the best price you'll see this season

SIB in Jay has them for $229. But that is the price on the lot. Delivery is extra.

Typically the softies cost more, but like Savemoney said, there is only a slight difference between the 2.

that IS lower, BUT very near the source....whereas the lumberyard isn't close.....don't know what he's paying for shipping, but I know what it costs to get them to Massachusetts......he's not making big money

X2 with a slight edge to the softies. For us(in CT.) the price is about the lowest I've seen.

Savemoney and I along with the pellet dealer in Jay are only about 40 miles or so from MWP. So it only makes sense we should see the lowest pries.

To me, that is too much. Not that it isn't a good pellet, just too much to pay for pellets. Compared to other fuels, you will be at a disadvantage.

That's what I said. Being a local NE product, I was hoping to pick these up in the ~$250/ton or ~$5/bag range. Will keep looking around to see if such prices float elsewhere locally.

My local Aubuchons is selling Easy Heats for the same price, or - you guessed it - $7/bag. What is UP with this $7/bag crap? How much do they pay those kids to chuck a couple bags of pellets in your car these days anyway? Think I need to start thinking about a career change.
