I caught this ear on camera lastnight. Can any one identify it? I'm guessing coyote, fox or dog... This is on the game camera that I'm trying to keep around since I've had something started killing my chickens... Thank you...

Well traps and camera are reset... Funny that he came up from that direction and looks like he sniffed the camera (I hadn't touched that camera for like 2 or 3 days with several days of rain too)... I was fearing that it was a fox too...but had a gut instinct that at least a few birds had suffered its fate from a fox...

Foxes have ears that are a little rounded....that one looks kinda pointy. The camera looks pretty low to the ground and that critter is even lower. I'm going with house cat.
coyote - urban area - favorite area for them- cam 2.5 ft off ground, fox not as tall - like a fox very smart about traps and such.
