    image.jpg Well, after wanting one for years, my local dealer advertised a special deal on Craiglist (need to stop checking that everyday.) A 461 with a 20" bar for $849. Guess what came home with me today!

    Probably won't run it for a while-too darn hot! My brother has a 460 and a 461-so I've ran them. Heck, I grew up using a Pro Mac 850-this is a lightweight compared to that.
    Gatorade-that box is a leftover from my football coaching days! Didn't realize it was in the picture!

    I bought one new 2 years ago and love it. I'm running a 20" bar and chain as well. I added big dogs and a roller catcher. Great setup but sometimes the big dog bite too hard. They took some getting use to!

    Yeah, I have a bunch of trees that need to come down but they're gonna have to wait until this heat wave is over. I ain't cuttin' nuffin at 94°!

    Well since you have already ran one, you already know how awesome the saw is.... I know I absolutely love mine....it seemed like a lot of money for me at the time, but this saw is built for the long haul....

    Oh and damm good deal you got on the saw!!!!

    Thanks for all the compliments. It is probably a bit much for someone that doesn't even burn wood-but I cut 35-40 cords with my brother every year. He has a OWB and heats a 2500 sq ft house and a 2100 sq ct shop. He also sells wood.
    Cutting wood is one of my hobbies-heck, I've got friends that spend 3-400 dollars on a single golf club. I know I'll have a big grin on my face in October or November when we start cutting.

    That's great you are helping your brother, will be a lot more fun to help him now!!!

    That's another reason I got my ms461....I don't really buy anything, and I heat my house and water strictly with wood, so I figure it a wash!!!!

    oh, that will come, cut split wood now.. let your wife go sit by a Woodstove, next year build a chimney.. you will be heating with wood in no time :D really good price
