I drove a couple last year, But was not impressed with the affordable models. Didn't want to spend that kind of $$ for the Cherokee, But it was the only one I liked.

Wasn't going with the Escape either due to too much $$. Seems to be too expensive until the incentives and deals happened. I was set to go subbie or something with a $20K limit. I got the Escape new for just slightly more and seeing it had a $32.5K price tag. I nearly got it at a used price. It was only a few $K more than the used 2014 was.

0 percent at 72 months pushed it into my affordable range.

Being that we're at the end of the '16 model year, dealers are willing to go much lower. Didn't bother me a bit.

I hope its an off, But I got used to hitting the button on the fusion when it got slick.

I was impressed with the 1.6L and 178 hp. The 2.0L and 240hp is nuts for power(I think thats what the edge has) compared to the 2.5L in the fusion. I left a few black marks when I took off from the lot. Dealer was hangin on. Bet he nearly chit himself with the old guy at the wheel. :emb:

I got one, But really though I would only need it when hooking up the trailer. I couldn't figure out how to get it to activate, Until I put it in reverse. Duh, It automatically comes on.......

Good thing I got a lil geek that will show me how to use all the techy stuff thats in the dash. :D

I've been using Meguiare's quick wax , it works great , alot easier and faster than the old days thick liquid / paste waxes like Blue Coral or Simoneze .

Mequiar's makes good stuff too. If i didn't get a sale "deal" on the Griot's, it would have been the Mequiars.

I hate it when a sales person HAS to be with you.

The Millerton NY dealer just put a plate on it and tossed us the keys. Wished he had a deal like the stuffed shirt had. I would have rather bought from them. Lil small town dealership and all the guys are very likable.
