Just so you know, I didn't pay that sticker. My ford incentives and loyalty discount knocked around $3K off. About $3K more than the used 2014 I was looking at, But sold before I could get there.

I change the oil in our cars these days because they both take 0w-20 and an old change at any shop around here will set you back ~$60, that's just plain ridiculous. So I go down to W and pick up the 5QT Mobile-1 jug for $23, a filter for $5 and do it myself. Not exactly good fun, but for less than half the price, I don't mind doing it so much. The truck isn't as bad because that one takes traditional 5w-30 oil and you can still get that changed at a shop for $20 - $25, with a coupon.

Yes, Luckily the tow pack is installed. You can't hardly see it though.

Hope it hauls 25 at least. Gonna find out first chance I get. First gotta see how much mac/cheese, Hot dogs and beans it will haul. Likely what we'll eat for a while. Might need to tone down the beer and go with whats on special!!

These beers are very good, from a small brewery called Olde Burnside Brewing in East Hartford. I have had these two flavors plus their black and tan, called Dirty Penny. All are fantastic! I think these are only available in (or very close to) CT. Have seen them on draft in a couple bars. They are sold as 4-packs and you can get it in a growler at the brewery. If anyone has the opportunity to try them, highly recommend!

Well, guess I have to spill the beans.....didn't want to take away from Jay's new beauty, but figured with all the talk about cars, what the heck.
Took ownership of a my first "new" car in over 15 yrs. A '16 Caddy XTS Luxury. It's the gift I never got when I retired from teaching 7 yrs ago. Was an Enterprise renter from N.C. Got 40% off original price, only 14K miles. Absolutely perfect, inside & out. And the best part, it's a certified unit, so I don't just get what's left of the original 50K/5yrs warranty......I get 7 years, bumper to bumper. Oil changes/ maintenance items are included N/C. They'll even pick the car up at my house & return it when work is done. Gets around 30MPG on the highway, 18-24 around town. Not bad for 4000lbs. Probably due to the VVT 3.5 V6. Color is Graphite gray w/ Light Titanium grey leather interior. Oh.....and it will even park itself.

Thanks Bud. :handshake: I sat on my deck after I brought it home, had 2-3 smoothies:cheers: and couldn't believe it was really mine. Didn't trade the '02 Trailblazer in, as they would have just given me about $1500........it's now my work & winter vehicle.
