I follow them ... interesting site. Admin seems starved for attention at times, always asking for the groups approval...

I had a good pick this morning at an estate sale. There was a bunch of cardboard boxes on a shelf in the basement. Everyone passed over it. I pulled a few out and dug to the bottom of each and saw an old paper bag. There was a handle of a pan sticking out. I bought it along with a bunch of other tools for cheap. It is unmarked, machined bottom on the inside, 11 3/4", and nice casting. Sadly, it is too wide for the mud oven.

WeldrDave , any thoughts? The bulk of my collection is unmarked pans.

Yup! It's an unmarked Wagner ware, handle is dead give away. Also, thats the way the marked them for sale in the box stores at the time. It's a "nice" pan! Post 1960, thats when a lot of grocery stores sold them also.

Thanks again Dave. This is getting addicting.

That skillet will hold a lot of chicken stew this fall or a roasted chicken with vegetables around it.
