    Because I'm not totally sure. This was just inside the wood line. It's framed out with attachment chains and a ton of nails going through both boards. I'm thinking a thick brush removing attachment, home made?

    I'd just invert it spikes up, place it in front of your front door, stick a "Welcome" mat in the middle and post a big sign saying- "Pollsters welcome!"

    As a kid running out in the woods, we would come across old hunting shacks that had the outside of their windows trimmed with that sort of thing...and also old crosscut saws...to prevent the bears from crawling in the cabin through the windows. And create a mess. Guess it worked quite well.
