    Good Morning Firewood hoarders,

My name is Rob and I'm new to the site. I don't have own a house, a tree, or a fireplace. I do however have my beloved chainsaws and use them every chance I get and have produced a lot of firewood/smokerwood for my friends/family in the past couple years. Finish carpenter/remodeler by trade, but I'd rather be outside in the woods. Born and raised in Cincinnati, but my family roots are in Vermont/New Hampshire and spent my summers in the mountains as a child and look forwards to returning some day when life allows. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. Hope you all have fantastic days.

    Rob Stafari

I'll go ahead and leave y'all with a few pictures of my last six months of firewooding. Lots of dead ash trees round here. With the occasional bonus cherry/hickory/walnut. IMG_2671.JPG IMG_2727.JPG IMG_3132.JPG IMG_3848.JPG IMG_3860.JPG

Nice, a fellow Cincinnatian. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. What part of Cinci? I'm in the Loveland area mostly, but my time is spread between Cinci, Columbus, and Cleveland area.

Welcome, Rob Stafari! Nothing wrong with being a chainsaw hobbyist, but I'm betting after a winter here with us you'll be installing a stove!!

At any rate, glad to have you aboard!

Ah yes, especially since I'm on the east side of Loveland. Too cool.

Thanks kind sir. If I owned a house, the wood stove would be there already! There is a fireplace in my friends garage where we have a glassblowing studio set up and its basically his living room while since we've been remodeling his house, so a good amount of wood gets used there. A couple other good friends heat solely with wood so I help keep them supplied. I just like being outdoors and simply enjoy cutting and splitting wood. Good for the mind, body, and soul. I like to stay on the transient side of life for the time being. Some day I'll settle down, grow some roots, and start homesteading somewhere nice. I'm in no hurry though.
