Did I miss the Olympics thread? Anybody else watching? Phelps was impressive, I liked watching weight lifting as well. The girls beach volleyball was entertaining too! USA seems to be killing the medal count!
I love watching them. I have been every night. I like watching table tennis and badminton. Those Chinese are unreal at table tennis. You almost can't even see the ball it's going so fast. Diving always is interesting to me too. Usain Bolt is unfair fast.
Wait, the Olympics is going on now? I honestly had no clue it was happening this year until my company held an Olympic kick-off event in the lobby a few weeks ago. A bunch of sponsors were there giving out free crap, got a box of Corn Flakes, a bunch of Tide and Downy stuff from P&G, and most importantly, a pretty cool glass with "Budweiser" molded into it. I got turned off from watching any events several years ago when it seemed everything I wanted to watch was at 2AM or something. I guess I'm a millennial in that sense, I want to go to Netflix, select "Archery" and watch it then and there!
I love watching great swim racing. Team USA crushed it in the pool. I'll remember Phelps making history for the rest of my life. Of course I watch the diving. I used to play that game in my younger days (NCAA Div I All-American 3 years). My friends and former team mates and competitors are now coaches and their kids are competing.
